Giant cracks spread across the ground of Grindo Desert, the driest place in Fieroeste. Despite the lack of water, life can still be found in this arid place. Tiny shoots of yellow grass sprout from the cracks that splinter the hard ground, and even the occasional Pokémon can be seen taking refuge in the shaded tears in the earth.

Located on the far west side of the Grindo Desert, Vasico is a town known for its lawlessness. Rough wooden buildings, some with scattered bullet holes, line both sides of the single dusty street of Vasico, and a giant clock tower looms above them all at the north end of the town. Only recently has Sheriff Hanna chased the outlaws that plagued the town away, even building a jail for those who remained.

Red stone walls loom above the rocky landscape of Rodrasla Canyon. The canyon walls are steep, even widening near the top. The waters of the Secardar River surround the canyon walls, causing some to liken them to islands of red stone. Navigating the canyon can be dangerous, especially if one wishes to climb the sheer rock face of the canyon walls.

Truly a wonder to behold, the city of Madrilado is built into the side of a cliff in Rodrasla Canyon. Every building is hollowed out of the rock face. The buildings are surprisingly intricate, decorated outside and in with patterns and hieroglyphs etched into the stone. A ten foot high wall surrounds the edge of the city, put in place to ensure that no one falls to the rocky ground below.

The colossal peaks of the Cimanja Crests act as a border between North and South Fieroeste. These monstrous mountains are actually relatively easy to climb owing to the various smooth paths hewn into the rough stone. Beautiful valleys and glens are hidden away in the mountain range, a prize for any who scale the Crests.

A vast latticework of abandoned mine shafts, the Crieva Cave is, more accurately, a network of caverns. Once rich in gold and other coveted minerals, the dark tunnels have all but been stripped of any worthwhile deposits. Only in the deepest- and most dangerous- shafts does anything of value remain.

The most expansive desert in Fieroeste, the Faldro Stretch is also the most dangerous. Though it is relatively flat and easy to navigate, nearly every traveler is plagued by mirages that lead them astray. Some say they have even been attacked by such illusions, though there have been no confirmed reports of such attacks.

The white stone city of Verdierra stands out brilliantly among the greenery of the Verdierra Oasis. The city seems to exude luxury; the graceful stone carvings and elegant water displays only adding to the aesthetic charm of the city. Verdierra has been designated by many as the place to be, and is known for producing many of Fieroeste's greatest minds.

Less an oasis than a lake, the Verdierra Oasis is a huge expanse of water on the southern edge of Fieroeste. Many small streams branch out from the oasis, and tropical greenery grows near the water. The lush wildlife and abundance of crystal clear water have made Verdierra Oasis and its many rivulets a popular gathering place for people and Pokémon alike.

Sub-board: The Little Family Ranch

On the northern edge of the Verdierra Oasis, a dense cluster of trees line the various rivulets that stem from the oasis. Hardly a mile in diameter, the Escavista Wilds can hardly be called a forest; instead, they are considered by many to simply be an overgrown thicket. Despite its small size, the Escavista Wilds is home to a large concentration of wild Pokémon.
