Step Two: You're a Troublemaker!

Hearing a voice, Jay sun to see what appeared to be some female deputy to the sheriff or something. She was either sizing him up or checking him out, and from the outfit he was wearing that covered every inch of his skin except his face and the first knuckle of each finger, thumbs included, so he guessed the former.

The tone she ave left Jay rather unimpressed. She underestimated him, saying he wouldn't be able to handle some of the rougher sorts, and the list she gave him would show the lack of confidence she held for his ability, and for what? His Trapinch knew what he was capable of, and Rebel seemed quite satisfied with his trainer. The criminals in the area didn't stand a chance.

The first one... Phallic? What did that even mean? He pondered the thought, unable to get any read on the Pokemon from the weird description.

The second one was broad;slashing up buildings could've been done by any number of Pokemon. If could be a Scyther, or Ursaring, or Blaziken... Sandshrew and its evolution, any of the Nidos, Meowth, maybe even Krabby... He was way over-thinking it, he knew, but even vandalism in this case showed something strong in that Pokemon, whatever it was.

The third one poisoned a room full of people... Probably using an attack like poison gas or poison fog. That narrowed it down, and among the candidates were Koffing, any of Gastly's evolutions, or perhaps even and evolved form of Oddish. Tempting as it was, he was a bit worried bed be poisoned himself by this thing.

The fourth one... Dug pitfalls around town? His eyes shot at the kindhearted Trapinch beside him, and was curious about if that would result in him having a mischievous clone or something... But there were other possibilities, almost all of which were ground type...

"Well," he started to say after a few seconds, "if you're not able to hand all four of them my way..." He paused, realizing something. "Another thought before I get my Pokemon... If you're so overcrowded that you're giving away Pokemon, where are you gonna put the Four when I bring 'em in?" He smirked, his answer still a bit too cocky. "Nonetheless, what do you think, Rebel?" The young man's companion raised a foot and then stomped down, once, twice... And stopped. Jay nodded his head. "Again, if we can't just help and take all four off your hands to clear up plenty of space for the real criminals around here, we'll take the second one you mentioned, the slasher..."
